Roy C. Beazley

Roy C. Beazley, 79, passed away January 6, 2026 at his residence. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. The service will be at 11am on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Mr. Beazley was native of Crystal Springs. He served 32 years, 5 months, and 23 days in the Army. He also served as a Sheriff Deputy for Copiah County and drove a school bus for the School of Blind and Deaf for many years.

His grandkids were his pride and joy. He loved his Ole Miss Rebels football and basketball. He also enjoyed refabricating and reselling furniture.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Sadie Lewis Beazley; son, Casey Beazley; and brothers, Linfield Beazley, Lewis Beazley, Don Beazley, and Ray Beazley; grandchild, Aiden Moore Roberts.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa "Terry" Lamb Beazley; daughters, Kerry Beazley Roberts (Carl), and Stacey Beazley; twin sisters, Audrey Whitten; sister, Beverly McDonald; brother, Gene Beazley; grandchildren, Jacob Roberts and Alaina Humphrey (Nathan); and his baby girl pup, Gracie.
