Roy Dale Board, age 83, of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Wednesday, February 11, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late A.W. Board and the late Mary E. (Mitchell) Morgan. Dale owned and operated Board's Transmission Service for 40 years. Dale loved the outdoors.

Dale leaves behind one son, Roger Board (Cindy) of Liberty, Kentucky; two grandsons, Jacob Board (Katie) and Christian Board (Ansley Brown) both of Liberty; two great-grandchildren, Charlie Board and Calvin Board both of Liberty; three brothers, Jim Board (Peggy Jo) of the Highland community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, Ronnie Morgan (Nancy) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Donnie Morgan (Nancy) of Mount Orab, Ohio; two sisters, Sue Ann Pearson (Kenneth) of West Chester, Ohio, and Doris Yaden (Jerry) of Franklin, Indiana; one brother-in-law, Donald Ronayne of Louisville, Kentucky; and several nephews, nieces and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Ronayne and Mary Helen Burton.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 11AM Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Salyers Cemetery. Jacob Board, Christian Board, Jamie Board, Jeff Board, Greg Morgan, and Rodney Yaden will serve as Active Pallbearers. The Breakfast Club at Poppa's Quick Stop will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
