Oh, Miss Vera....I am so saddened to learn of Roy's passing. I met him in the 80's when he saw me driving a fork truck at Grossman's Lumber and would say that he "bought wood that he didn't even need." He repeated that phrase over many years. For the over 14 years that I was at Wegmans. he never failed to come say hi when the boys met on Thursday morning for coffee klatch. Often, he and Miss Vera brightened my day with stories of their most recent golf date or bus trip to a dance that way past midnite. A truly charming gentleman with an impish twinkle in his eye. He was much loved by many. Thinking of you and remembering Roy with many wonderful memories.

Roy and Vera are the kindest people I have had the privilege to meet. Roy was a great role models and truly changed many people´s lives for the better. He loved candy and we would often walk before lunch and "take" candy that neighbors left out. He´s my favorite "candy thief" and a formidable rummy competitor. He will be missed and I´m am truly blessed to have both of them in my life. Rest easy my friend

Roy was a great friend, we hunted and fished together. I remember one time we were fishing and I cought a couple of fish and Roy moved up next to me and said, mind if I fish here, and every time we met after that one of us would say, mind if I fish here. Roy was agreat guy and will be missed by many people. Sleep well my friend.

We all have lost one of the great ones. Roy and Vera both have been so kind to Butch and myself for years . They had a true love affair that was undeniable. They made everyone around feel their excitement for life. Roy made a joke about Everything and always had everyone laughing. He will be greatly missed by all.
