Roy Lee Davis, 84, of Lubbock was born October 23, 1937 in Bray, Oklahoma to Ernest & Ludella (Covington) Davis. He married Patsy (Pat) Covey July 3, 1959 in Lubbock. They were married 59 years before she passed away on January 10, 2019. Roy enjoyed going to estate sales and was a collector of all things. He loved music, gardening, & picking on everyone. Roy was a veteran of the United States Army from 1955 to 1958.
Roy went to be with the Lord Thursday May 5, 2022. His parents, his wife, and 3 brothers all preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memories are his 3 children: Cherylene Joy James & husband O. Lee James III, Connie Lee Henry, & Roy Don Davis, 4 grandchildren: Brandi Pierce, Jason Terry, Sara Rucker, Samuel Davis, 5 great-grandchildren: Virginia Davis, Marilyn Davis, Hayden Wallace, Waylon Waters, & Allynah Davis, and his brother: Jerry Davis.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7pm Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Services will be at 11:00am Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the same chapel.
