Roy Allen Garlach of Francesville, IN passed away at his family home Friday, September 5, 2025 at the young age of 62 following a short battle with cancer. He was born in Tacoma, WA on May 10, 1963 to Rita Louise (Pearson) Ellett. Rita married Jerrone Garlach who adopted and raised Roy as his own. They lived in Hebron, IN where Roy graduated from high school. He served in the US Army and met the love of his life, Carmen, while stationed in Germany. They raised three children. Roy enjoyed traveling the country as a truck driver, farming, giving to others, and anything related to guns. He was a talkative person who never knew a stranger.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM EDT Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at St. James Salem Cemetery in Francesville, IN with Rev. Anthony Rowland officiating.
The American Legion and US Army will conduct Military Graveside Services.
Burial will take place at St. James Salem Cemetery in Francesville, IN.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Rifle Association.
Online Tributes may be offered at www.frainmortuary.com.
