Roy Halstead Obituary
Roy spent his career in production at Employment Development Inc., where he was known as a shining light. Outside of his professional life, he possessed a deep enthusiasm for sports, particularly as a supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. His love of travel took him to various destinations, while his passion for bowling was a joyful pastime shared with friends and family alike.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Violet (Cook) Halstead, and his brothers Joseph and Everett Halstead. He leaves behind his loving family: Cindy Munoz, Erica Burke, Tyler Austin, Trae Burke, and Charlee Burke, who will miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation service on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5-7 pm at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists. As we gather to remember Roy, we celebrate a life filled with cherished memories and a legacy of warmth and devotion that will remain in our hearts forever.
