He is survived by his son, James Cody Higgs; special ex wife, Lisa Higgs; nieces, Sharlete and Shylea Clark, Crystal Clark, Debra Paris, Tammy Thomas, Laura Gasch, Nicole Paris, Melissa Shelton, and Chrissy Deaton; nephews, Charles Paris, Zachariah Clark, Isaiah Grose, Zack and Lyle Deaton; many special friends and his sisters in law, Debbie Mason, Robin Payton, and Dana Moore.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Freddy, Paul, and Bobby; sisters, Ruby, Wilma, Doris, and Judy; nephew, Donald Grose and his cousin, Darlene Keach.
Visitation for Roy will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Spring Valley Funeral Home in New Albany, Indiana from 10am - 12pm with his service beginning at 12pm, also at the funeral home.
