Roy Hoenig Obituary
He grew up in Long Island, New York. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Billy Hoenig.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Hoeing, of 67 years, daughters Laura Garris (Gene) and Ruth Edney (Tim), granddaughters, great grandchildren, and a great-great grandson. Roy retired as a Master Chief in the Navy after 20 years of service and then taught HVAC and refrigeration at the Va. Beach Technical Center.
He enjoyed raising Homing Pigeons, gardening, painting, and waving to passerby's from his front porch. The memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Church of Christ at Creeds.
