Roy Eugene "Gene" Kindle
Age 72, a resident of Westville, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born February 7, 1952 in Warsaw, Missouri, the son of Enoch Oscar and Helena Elizabeth (Langley) Kindle.
Gene was an accomplished electrical engineer and worked as a civilian contractor for Tinker Air Force base for 32 years. He loved his family, loved taking pictures of them, carrying his camera around his neck, loved to tinker/fix things, always had the latest gadgets, and also loved to farm.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Opal Kindle and George and Annie Langley, his parents, Enoch and Helena Kindle, his older brother, Jeff Kindle, and his brother-in-law and sister, Steve and Bonnie (Kindle) Dersam.
He is survived by his younger brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Lavana Kindle of Camden, Arkansas, his nieces and nephews: Tara (Kindle) Walker and family of Maumelle, Arkansas, Tiffany (Kindle) Harris and family of Springdale, Arkansas, Robert Dersam of Westville, Oklahoma, Trini (Kindle) Teehee and family of Lincoln, Arkansas, Terrill Dersam and family of Poteau, Oklahoma, Jared Kindle and family of Winslow, Arkansas, Jason Dersam and family of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Leah (Kindle) Kirksey and family of Camden, Arkansas, and Laren (Kindle) Edwards and family of Lebanon, Tennessee, and a host of family and friends.
Viewing will be Friday, October 11th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Climax Springs Cemetery in Edwards, Missouri.
