Roy Manis

Roy Fred Manis, age 56, of Rogersville, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. He was a former employee of Hawkins County Schools Maintenance Department and later at Short Mountain Silica as a truck driver. He loved to go hunting and fishing any chance he could.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Ruby Kincer Manis, and George and Bonnie Collins; uncles, Mack Manis, Paul Collins, Glen Collins, A.Y. Rice, and Blaine Rice; and aunt, Oma Lee Wheeler.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Beulah Manis; brother, Roger Manis (Tammy); sisters, Bonnie "Rose" Painter, and Connie Manis; nephew, Joshua Manis (Jessica); nieces, Amber Davis (Bill), Martina Manis (Jeremy) and Hailey Manis; great nephew, Samuel Forbis; great niece, Bryleigh Manis and aunts, Audrey Manis, and Jewel Rice.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Christian Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with Rev. Neil Drinnon, and Eric Chapman officiating. Graveside service will follow in McKinney Chapel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
