Roy Christopher "Chris" Martin

Roy Christopher Martin passed away January 11, 2026 at his residence in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness. Chris was born in Jacksonville, January 10, 1965 to Jerry and Patricia Martin. Chris enjoyed spending time with family and friends. If you needed help with a project Chris was the first one with the shirt off his back getting his hands dirty helping, whether it was under the hood of a vehicle, in the yard doing yard work or at the house doing home repairs. Chris spent most of his life working in the concrete industry and prior to having multiple strokes was the owner of C&R Concrete LLC Jacksonville Fl.

Chris was preceded in death by his youngest brother Daniel Patrick Pittman, mother Patricia Parramore (AKA Delores DelRe Lawver), his son Daniel Clayton Martín and the maternal grandparents who raised him Roy W and Margaret Barton Parramore.

Chris is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Conswella "Reba" Martin, sons Eric Martin (Osseo, WI) and Bryan Avant (Shellyann) (Jefferson City, MO), daughters Christina Ritch (James) (Starke, FL) and Ashley Parramore (Jacksonville, FL), stepchildren Jay Fiers, Leann Fiers and Alan Spaulding (Jacksonville, FL), brothers Mike Pittman (Allison) (Hebron, ME), Rick Pittman (Tina) (St Augustine, FL), Daniel Martin (Angela) (Panama City, FL), Jason Martin (Tonya) (Newnan, Ga), his father Jerry Martin (Lake City, Ga), numerous nieces and nephews and 10 grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, 12:00 PM at Calvary Chapel Holiness Church 8410 Susie St Jacksonville, FL., Pastor Linda Sparks will be officiating. Flowers are graciously declined. Those wishing to do so may make a donation to the charity of their choice in honor of Chris.
