Roy Tabor Obituary
Roy was the owner and operator of Joe's Trading Shop "Trader Joe" for 42 years. He graduated from Wake Forest High School in 1955.
He was a simple man, he loved music, playing his guitar, singing old time gospel songs, gardening, and 2-way radio communication.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Alma Ray Tabor; sisters, Margaret Scott, Glorene Strickland; and brother, Vernon Tabor.
He is survived by his son, Andy (Angel) Tabor; and brother, Jessee Tabor.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Amedisys Foundation, 3320 US 1 Hwy Suite B Franklinton, NC 27525.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, 770 Stadium Dr. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
