Roy Jeffery Touchstone, 61, a resident of McComb, MS passed away on April 18, 2025 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Hartman Jones Funeral Home from 10 AM until services at 12 PM. Burial will be at Union Primitive Baptist Church and Bro. Jerry Terrell will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Roy was born on March 26, 1964 to Dorothy McDaniel Touchstone and the late James Leroy Touchstone. He was the best daddy and pawpaw. He knew every eating stop on every major highway through his years of truck driving.
He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents J.C and Marjorie Touchstone; his maternal grandparents John Ellis and Gennie McDaniel; aunts Judy Touchstone and Emma Case; and his uncles Nathaniel "Son" McDaniel, Henry McDaniel, Clifford McDaniel, Charles McDaniel, Marshall McDaniel, and Milton McDaniel.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy McDaniel Touchstone; his children Mallory (Keith) Touchstone and Tyler (Kim) Touchstone; seven grandchildren Ethan Touchstone, Brandon Laird, Grayson Touchstone, Raynie Touchstone, Paisley Touchstone, Audrey Stinson and Joshua Stinson; sister Melinda Touchstone; two step-brothers Jimmy (Glenda) Phelps and Ricky (Melanie) Phelps; special companion Jo Ann Lee; very special uncles Doug Touchstone, Seth Touchstone, and Hilton "Pete" McDaniel; very special aunts Debbie Touchstone and Marie Travis of Tulsa, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and truck driving buddies.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Touchstone, Brandon Laird, Bryan Terrell, Jody Cooper, Seth Touchstone, and Keith Moesta. Honorary Pallbearers will be Grayson Touchstone, Tyler Touchstone, Steve Hazelwood, Doug Touchstone, Bobby Saxton, Mike Moak, and Felder Dunn.
