Roy Dean Waide, 79 of Fritch, passed away on September 20, 2025, Amarillo.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Minton Memorial Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Roy was born in Dalhart, Texas to Lewis Johnson Waide and Charlotte Electra (Biggs) Waide. In 1977 he married Donna Fay Clark in Dalhart, Texas. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mowing the yard. He took care of his dogs Dizzy and Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; and a brother Terry.
Surviving is his daughter, Nancy Clement of Fritch; stepchildren, Calvin Clement Jr. of Alabama, Timothy Clement of Dallas, and Mary Ann Wyatt of Texarkana, Arkansas; brothers, J. J. Waide of Enid, Oklahoma and Rick Waide of Otis Orchard, Washington; sister, Sue Ray of Dalhart, Texas; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
