Visitation will be 5:00 – 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Carlisle Funeral Home with memorial service to follow at 6:00pm in the Chapel.
Roy was a loving father, uncle, and loyal friend whose kind spirit touched everyone who knew him. He had a deep love for farm animals, especially his cherished chicken, Boot-Boot, who brought him endless joy and laughter.
Roy spent much of his life working as a welder and truck driver, known for his strong work ethic. In his free time, nothing made him happier than spending time with his special friend, Leroy, sharing stories, laughter, and quiet moments that meant the world. Roy will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Williams and Mamie Braddy Williams; sisters, Gladis Marks and Pauline Williams; and brothers, Robert Williams, Floyd Williams, and Mack Williams.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Ericia Cayton and her husband John of West Virginia; grandchildren, John and Savanah of West Virginia; nieces, Laura Sykes and her husband Skipper of Nashville, and Jean Keel; nephews, Russ Williams and Sammy Williams of Enfield, and William Barfield; sister-in-law, Nellie Williams of Enfield; special friend, Leroy Butts; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
