Rubble Moseley, the beloved French Bulldog of Kelli and Matthew Moseley of Carthage, Indiana, unexpectedly passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, August 30, 2025, following a seizure. Rubble became a member of the Moseley family on Friday, November 29, 2024, after he was given as a 37th birthday gift from Kelli's mother, the birthday gift Kelli had wanted for her birthday for many years. A French Bulldog puppy, the choice Kelli made to join her family was one of the very best breeds suited for families-according to dogbreedinfo.com-the temperament of The French Bulldog is a pleasant, easy-care companion who is playful, alert, and affectionate. It is enthusiastic and lively, without being yappy and loud. Curious, sweet, and absolutely hilarious, it has a very comical personality and loves to clown around. It is bright and easygoing. The Frenchie gets along fairly well with strangers and other animals and enjoys being with its owner. It plays well with other dogs.

And from the day little Rubble arrived at his new home, he very much fit that description of his breed. He was loved.

Two things that Rubble did not care for were getting a bath, and he absolutely did not like riding in the car; he got car sick every time.

Rubble had so many more things in his life that he loved. He loved munching on treats of chips, playing with his beloved tennis balls, and waiting for the person he loved more than life itself, his mama Kelli. He loved when Kelli would come home from work; he would get so excited to see her. She was his person, and she is what he valued most in life.

Kelli shared her favorite memory of Rubble, watching him "running around refusing to listen to my husband and dodging my husband from grabbing him," and a funny memory of when they were getting a new mattress that had not been delivered to their house yet. Rubble was expecting to jump on the mattress and fell through-"He jumped on the bed frame and freaked out; he looked like he was swimming as he kept falling in each open space."

Rubble, who was also lovingly referred to by his nicknames of "Rubs" and "Rubble Trouble," was loved by his family so much. Rubble will forever be remembered for his immense heart, his loving nature, and the joy he brought during his short time on this earth. They will miss him dearly but are grateful for the time they got to share with their sweet boy. In addition to Kelli and Matthew, Rubble will be sadly missed by his siblings, Jase, Henleigh, Skyler, Frog and Critter.
