Rubeana Skaggs Obituary

Rubeana was a retired Jefferson County, Kentucky, middle school science teacher and a congregational member of Potato Run Church.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer Skaggs and Jeffrey (Vicki) Skaggs; two grandchildren, Averie and Logan Skaggs; as well as two sisters, Jeanette Knight and Lavonne Hadley; and many nieces and nephews.
Rubeana was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James "Buck" Skaggs, in 2024, and her sister, Lois Chestlene (Ryan) Green.
Per her wishes, cremation was chosen, with no services to be held. Rubeana will be interred in Gethsemane Church Cemetery in Corydon, IN. She is at peace with God.
