Ruben E. Correa

Ruben E Correa, 85, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Ruben (Ben) was born May 28, 1940, and was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys O. Correa. Ben was a proud U.S. Navy War Veteran, who faithfully served two Vietnam tours and retired after 30 years as a CMDCM. Ben and Gladys were avid world travelers and mostly enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Ben was a very loyal friend to many people and truly kind and generous to others.
Ben, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, survived by his sons and daughters, Howard Jackson (Donna), Robert Jackson, Debroah Keown (Roger), Tracy Lopez (Able), Carla Kellett (David), Gary Jackson (Bonnie), Sharon Chittim (Duane) and preceded in death by his daughter, Catherine Ottensman (David).
Grandchildren, Victoria Lass, Bryce Jackson, Stephanie Berger, Jonathan Jackson, Amanda Guerzon, Kaylene Navarro, Cody Ottensman, Jeremy Kellett, Joshua Kellett, Kimberly Lazar, Matthew Chittim and twenty great-grandchildren.
Ben was always thankful for the friends he made and outstanding staff at Acclaim, East Beach, where he thoroughly enjoyed his last year of life. Service will commence at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Followed by Graveside Service, with Full Military Honors, 1:00 p.m. at Albert G Horton Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
