Born on December 12, 1939, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Ruben was a man of deep faith and strong character. He was a firm believer in God, and his unwavering faith guided every part of his life. A devoted Christian, he found great peace and purpose in serving the Lord and living according to His word.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Rosa Maria Ramirez, with whom he shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith and family.
Ruben is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Maria Ramirez, children: Blanca Rosa Aguinaga (Jesse), Patricia Diaz, Maribel Delgado (Randy), and Ruben D. Ramirez (Krystal); and his cherished grandchildren: Valeria Aguinaga, Jesse Aguinaga III, Olivia Delgado, Rylee Ramirez, Liliana Delgado and Parker Ramirez.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Marcelino and Juanita Ramirez, son-in-law, Edgar Diaz, brother, Juan Ramirez, and grandson, Jesse Aguinaga Jr., whom he now rejoins in eternal peace.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love him.
A service honoring Ruben's life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 6PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive, San Antonio. Friends and family are also invited to gather for visitation from 5PM to 6PM.
