Loving father of George Toro (Catherine) and the late Ruben Toro Jr. (Surviving wife Deedra Pearson-Toro).
Proud Grandfather of Ruth and Owen Toro, Alexander, Johnathan, and Gabriel Pearson-Toro.
Brother of the late Ina Dalli.
Uncle of Jason and Eric Dalli.
Son of the late Jose Ruben and Aurelia Navarro Toro.
Ruben was a proud Cuban immigrant and US citizen who lived for his family.
Although Ruben passed suddenly of a heart attack on Monday, he spent the last few weeks next to his grandchildren, Ruth and Owen. He is now reunited with his son and his soulmate "Rosy," who he doted on and preceded him in death this past May.
Ruben was also a loyal friend, avid chess player, lover of music and art, jack of all trades, and a die hard Yankees fan. He is dearly missed.
Visitation Saturday, August 2nd from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Neely Funeral Home, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA 15116. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Sebastian Church, 311 Siebert Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
