He loved watching sports especially the Astros, and his lottery tickets.
Ruben is preceded in death by his Father, Ancelmo Uresti B., Mother, Josefa Ch. De Uresti.
He is survived by his beloved family which includes his Two Daughters, Alma Rodriguez (Gregory Kelley), Christina U. Caudill (Peter Briggs); Two Sons, Ruben Uresti Jr. (Gloria Ortiz), Roland Uresti (Elizabeth Tobar); Ex-Son-in-law, Reuben James Caudill; Ex-Daughter-in-law, Lisa Uresti; Ten Grandchildren, Angela Villalobos, Jenny Rodriguez, Ruben Uresti Jr., III, Paul Uresti, Heather Uresti, Alyssa Uresti, Desiree Uresti, Anthony Uresti, Vicky Cruz, Adalynn Garcia; and numerous Great-grandchildren, and Great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas. A Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm and Military Honors will begin at 6:30 pm.
Cremation will take place at a later date.
