Esta es una celebración de la vida de Rubí Flores Chávez. Rubí era una niña encantadora que siempre tuvo una vida llena de propósito por delante. Relatamos una parte de su increíble historia: Rubí era muy alegre y llegó a este mundo con una risa contagiosa y una sonrisa iluminadora que tocaba la vida de todos. ¡Sí! era conversadora y le encantaba hacer reír. Su color favorito era el rosa. Le gustaba mucho la escuela y era una estudiante sobresaliente. A Rubí le gustaba mucho bailar y una de sus metas era ser porrista lo cual pudo lograr. Nunca tuvo miedo de probar cosas nuevas y veía la vida con una perspectiva optimista. A Rubí le gustaba todo tipo de comida, su hermano Pedro, siempre animaba a la familia a trabajar en conjunto para hacer los tamales que todos disfrutaban. A Rubí le encantaba ir al cine con sus primos, amigos, mamá y hermana. Una cosa que a Rubi le hubiera gustado era viajar y poner sus pies en la arena de una hermosa playa. La madre de Rubí fue su compañera de aventuras, su hermana mayor fue su cómplice, su hermano mayor fue su tutor y su padre fue su HÉROE. Tenía muchos familiares a su alrededor que la amaban, pero no podemos mencionarlos a todos porque son muchos. Rubí puede que haya dejado este mundo, pero su legado vivirá en cada uno de nosotros, su familia y amigos. Rubi, tu familia tiene una gran historia que compartir sobre ti. Tus padres siempre estarán orgullosos de ti y bendecidos con la gran hija que Dios les prestó durante 13 años. Cerraste los ojos, nuestra princesita, pero sabemos que vivirás en nuestros corazones por siempre y en todos los que te amamos. Descansa en paz.
A Rubi le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos, Máximo Chávez y Gregoria Pérez y un querido primo, Edwin Charles. Le sobreviven sus padres, Everardo Flores y Elia Chávez, su hermana, Itzel Flores Chávez, su hermano, Pedro Flores Chávez; sus abuelos, Pedro Flores y María del Refugio García; numerosas tías, tíos, primos y amigos. Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre a las 11:00 a. m. el lunes 10 de marzo en la iglesia católica St. Thomas the Apostle en Lenoir City, con el padre Julián Cardona oficiando. La familia recibirá a amigos de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m. antes del servicio en la iglesia. El sepelio se realizará en Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Los familiares y amigos pueden llamar cuando les resulte conveniente el viernes 7 de marzo de 1:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. o el sábado 8 de marzo de 10:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m. o el domingo 9 de marzo de 10:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m. en McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N. ENGLISH This is a celebration of the life of Rubí Flores Chávez. Rubí was a charming girl who always had a purposeful life ahead of her. We relate a part of her incredible history: Rubí was very cheerful and came into this world with an infectious laugh and an illuminating smile that touched the lives of everyone. Yes! she was chatty and she loved to make you laugh. Her favorite color was pink. She really liked school and was an outstanding student. Rubi really liked to dance and one of her goals was to be a cheerleader which she was able to achieve. She was never afraid to try new things and she looked at life with an optimistic perspective. Rubí liked all kinds of food, her brother Pedro, always encouraged the family to work together to make the tamales that everyone enjoyed. Rubí loved going to the movies with her cousins, friends, mom and sister. One thing that Rubi would have liked was to travel and to put her feet in the sand of a beautiful beach.
Rubi's mother was her adventure companion, her big sister was her accomplice, her big brother was her guardian and her father was her HERO. She had a lot of family around her that loved her, but we can't mention them all because there are many. Rubí may have left this world, but her legacy will live in each of us, her family and friends. Rubi, your family has a great story to share about you. Your parents will always be proud of you and blessed with the great daughter that God lent them for 13 years. You closed your eyes, our little princess, but we know that you will live in our hearts forever and all of us that love you. Rest in peace.
Rubi is preceded in death by her grandparents, Maximo Chavez and Gregoria Perez and a dear cousin, Edwin Charles. She is survived by her parents, Everardo Flores and Elia Chavez, Sister, Itzel Flores Chavez, Brother, Pedro Flores Chavez; grandparents, Pedro Flores and Maria del Refugio Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 10th at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City with Father Julian Cardona officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service at the Church. Interment to follow in Loudon County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may call at their convenience on Friday, March 7th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM or Saturday, March 8th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM or on Sunday March 9th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations, 1366 Hwy 72 N. Loudon.
