Rubin (Tiny) Miller of Colfax Louisiana passed away peacefully on Aug. 9, 2025 at the age of 84. He was a former long time resident of Greeley, Colorado. Rubin was born in Coldwater, Louisiana but spent his childhood moving around the country as his father worked in the logging industry. At the age of 17, Rubin joined the Air Force and was assigned to the Strategic Air Command. It was while he was stationed in Lincoln, NE with SAC that he met his wife of 65 years Ruth Ann. After his honorable discharge from the military, Rubin spent most of his career as an owner operator truck driver. He hauled loads all over North America.

Rubin's hobby was old trucks, Fords especially. For many years he was an active member of an antique truck club. He worked to restore trucks and was always in the middle of many projects. He was an avid WWIi buff.

Rubin was an outgoing man who could talk to anyone and tell a good story but his first priority was his family. His career was traveling but he was always home for family events. He felt a deep commitment to take care of his family and knew that included teaching them how to be independent.

Rubin is survived by his wife Ruth Ann, three daughters, Ann Perkins (Jeff), Bonita Miller, and Laurie Hallberg (Mark), 3 granddaughters and 10 great grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings Alton Miller (Cleta), Sharon Alphin (Jim), Ester Kuebler (David), and Mary Ivy (TJ).

Services will be Sept. 2, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Avenue, Greeley, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St Jude Hospital, or Wounded Warrior Project.
