Ruby Nell Bivens was born December 2, 1930, in Kerens, Tx. She departed this life to be in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Dallas, Tx.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, James and Johnnie Mae Bivens, sister, Lula Mae Moore, and son, Floyd Lee Bivens.
Ruby attended school in Trinidad, Tx and later moved to Dallas, Tx, working for Ablon Poultry, Cabana Hotel, and Hyatt House.
Ruby attended Galilee Baptist Church and later was a faithful member at New Metropolitan Church in Cedar Hill, Tx under the pastorage of Phineas A. Turner Sr.
Ruby was devoted to her sons and was known to be quick-witted. She enjoyed attending church, fishing, cooking, playing cards, dominoes, and spending time with family.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memories; son, Bobby Ray Bivens of Dallas, Tx; sister, Frances Wilson; brother, Robert Jimeson (Elaine) of Allen, Tx, and a host of other relatives and friends.
