Ruby Bailey Davis, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, left this world peacefully on March 14, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on March 3, 1951, in Columbus, Georgia, Ruby's life was a vivid tapestry of love, laughter, and creativity. She passed away surrounded by her loving family in Phenix City, Alabama.
She is survived by her children, Bob Bartoli, Frank Bartoli, James Beaver and his wife Jennifer, and Odessa Robbins. Ruby will be missed by her grandchildren, Caitlyn Jordan, Parker Lindsey, and Landon Beaver. Her sisters, Kathleen Klida and Rose Hudgins, will fondly remember their sister's vibrant personality. Ruby also leaves behind her special niece, Madison Beaver, alongside numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, all of whom she adored.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, James Beaver, Jr. and Azzlee (Henry) Beaver. She was the oldest of their three daughters and grew up in a home filled with love and laughter.
Ruby was known for her sparkling wit and her ability to find humor in every situation. She was an avid movie buff. She especially loved westerns and old Hollywood movies, often sharing her love for the classics with others.
As we bid farewell to Ruby Bailey Davis, we celebrate the time we had with her and the many ways she enriched our lives. Her spirit, humor, and love will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Ruby will be deeply missed by many.
