Nancy Carolyn Davis, 92, of Hampton, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2025, at her residence. She was born in North Carolina to the late Albert and Carrie Silverthorne Bembridge.
Nancy was a believer of Jesus Christ and a loyal mother to her children. In her younger years, she enjoyed time with her family in North Carolina, often taking road trips to visit even after moving to Virginia. She enjoyed the companionship of a few close friends and enjoyed spending time and meals with them. She always enjoyed fixing big holiday meals for the family and bringing everyone together.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, John W. Davis Sr.; brothers, Roger and Charlie "C.J." Bembridge; sisters, Barbara Elaine Casper and Molly Luella Mizelle; son, Albert Keith Bennett and son-in-law, John Allen Uschlbec. She leaves behind her daughter, Patricia Carol Uschlbec; sons, Ronald Lenn Bennett and Johnny W. Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Julie Strickland (Ace Strickland) and JD Davis III; great–grandchildren, Conner and Reagan Strickland and goddaughter, Drena Cherry.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2025 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
