Mrs. Vaughn was a graduate of Dade County High School, retired from Buster Brown with fourteen years of service, and was a member of Five Points Baptist Church in Ider for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. & Verna Blevins Dean, formerly of Wildwood, GA, and siblings, Fairris, Melvin, & Johnny Dean, & Una Morrow, daughter, Donna Pike, and husband of 49 years, Ralph (Sonny) Vaughn.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Christy) Vaughn of Ft. Payne, AL, & Michael (Dianne) Vaughn of Ider, AL; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, & six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Rheay, Chattanooga, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Johnny Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Pannell Cemetery in Ider, AL.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
