Ruby Jewell DuBois

Ruby Jewell DuBois, 94, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest January 24, 2026 at the Medical Lodge of Neosho after a long illness.

Ruby Jewell Petty was born November 7, 1931 in Goodman the daughter of John and Mary Pearl (Capps) Petty.

Ruby went to Goodman Public Schools. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She traveled a few years with her husband Morris. She spent years helping people and loved to sing with her sisters and nieces. Ruby loved to look for bargains. Ruby loved all the dogs she mothered over the years and spoiled them rotten. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Ruby Petty married Morris DuBois June 17, 1949 and he passed away August 16, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Allison Wyrick, siblings, Irene Petty West, Joe (Pete) Petty, Lucille Petty Rice, Floyd (Buck) Petty, Julia Petty Rinehart, Robert Petty, Ruth Petty DuBois.

Survivors include grandchildren, Jamie Wyrick and Joel Wyrick, her sister Margie Lynn and 4 great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

A Celebration of life memorial service will be held by the family 1pm, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Moss Church Anderson, MO.
