Obituary for Ruby Nell Ewell

Ruby Nell Ewell was called home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2026, surrounded by

her loving family. She was born on April 8, 1934, in Longview, Texas, to the union of

German Coleman and Alberta Gordon.

Ruby later married her life partner, Harry Ewell Jr., who preceded her in death. Together,

they built a life grounded in faith, love, and service. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother,

grandmother, and greatgrandmother whose presence brought warmth and strength to

all who knew her.

A faithful member of the Church of Christ, Ruby's belief in God was the guiding light of

her life. Her faith shaped her character, her compassion, and the many lives she

touched along the way. She lived with a spirit of generosity, kindness, and unwavering

devotion to her family and her community.

Though we grieve at her passing, we rejoice in knowing that Ruby is reunited with her

loved ones and resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord. Her legacy of love, faith,

and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
