Ruby Gantt Obituary
Ruby Ann Morrison Gantt, age 71, of Lincolnton, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born December 6, 1952, in Cleveland County to the late Charles and Dora Lee Morrison. Ruby was a member of Roseland Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing and would often sing at local nursing homes.
Survivors include her husband, Wireman Gantt; son, Brandon Withers (Shelia); daughter, Schronda Withers; stepchildren, Lynn Gantt (Jody), Amy Pfeifer (Terry), and Patricia Gantt; grandchildren, Brandon “Kyle” Withers (Rosa), Demry Carlton, and Tallie Carlton; great-grandchild, Grayson Withers; numerous step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Cantrell, Edith, and Hazel; and special family friends, Crystal Martin, and Melissa Allen.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Freedom Biker Church - 1385 33rd St. SE Conover, NC 28613, with Pastor Phill Goins officiating. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 AM prior to her service at the church. Burial will be private.
