Ruby Diane Gordon, age 67, passed away on June 29, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 7, 1956, in Mount Ayr, Iowa, to parents Albert Allen Comer and Ruby Elizabeth (Garrett) Comer. Throughout her life, Ruby filled the lives of those around her with warmth and joy. She had a special bond with her pets - a dog named Ariel and a cat named Tuffy. Ruby found solace and companionship in the company of her furry friends. One of Ruby's favorite pastimes was watching game shows. Her enthusiasm for shopping was contagious, as she had an eye for finding the perfect gifts for her loved ones. Ruby's presence at family gatherings always brought an extra layer of happiness - she cherished these moments spent surrounded by family. In quiet moments of reflection, Ruby's absence will be deeply felt. Yet, her spirit lives on through the memories shared and the love she gave so freely. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished in life and will be remembered with fondness in death.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Tim Bronson of Claremore, Chad Bronson and wife Bailee of Grove, and Kenny Bronson of Claremore; brothers Jack Comer and wife Laurie of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Tony Comer and wife Yvonne of Claremore; sisters Deborah Comer of Langley, Sherrie Cooper and husband Jack of Pryor, and Patricia Ogg and husband Rick of Pryor; four grandchildren; and special friend Marsha Weaver Thornton; as well as many other extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Ruby Comer; husband, Howard Edwin Gordon, and brother, Steve Comer.
