Brian Lynn Wadel, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, passed away suddenly at home Saturday, December 20, 2025. Brian was born on March 14, 1972, in Greensburg, Kansas, to Darrell Wadel and Velda (Nichols) Wadel. Brian lived with a quiet but steady faith, often turning to God to guide his path and decisions.

Brian was raised in Greensburg and graduated from Greensburg High School, proudly cheering on the Rangers. He continued his education at Pratt Community College and later attended the University of Kansas, where his lifelong love for Jayhawk basketball deepened.

Throughout his life, Brian built a diverse and hardworking career. He held several roles, including distribution center manager and CDL driver, working for well-known companies such as FedEx and Walmart. No matter what the position, Brian was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and straightforward approach to getting things done.

Brian lived life with enthusiasm and purpose. He loved riding motorcycles, planning trips, and especially cherished his time in Aruba, a place that brought him great joy. At home, he took pride in caring for his blueberry plants, finding peace in the simple routines of tending to them. Brian was an avid sports fan and could often be found watching Kansas Jayhawks basketball, Oklahoma Sooners and Kansas City Chiefs football, and New York Yankees baseball. He had a tremendous love for the outdoors that included boating, riding his wave runners, tubing as well as fly fishing and hunting.

Brian is survived by his father, Darrell Wadel; his mother, Velda Wadel; and his brother, Brandon Wadel, along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss his presence, humor, and unwavering loyalty.

Brian will be remembered for his independence, his passions, and the genuine way he lived his life. He leaves behind many memories that will continue to bring comfort, laughter, and reflection to those who knew and loved him.
