Mrs. Ruby M. Hardy was born in Springfield, Tennessee on February 7, 1945 to Ms. Corlean Dunn Morrow and Mr. James R. West. On November 24, 2021, Ruby entered sweet rest from her earthly labor.
Ruby received her education in Clarksville Tn, at Bailey Cobb Elementary and the Historic Burt High School. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Greenhill Baptist Church and then later united with Christ The Healer Church, where she faithfully attended.
Ruby married to Sergeant Major Russell L. Hardy in 1963 and to this union they were blessed with Three beautiful children.
Ruby worked at Ft. Campbell Food Service, South Central Growers, Electrolux, and was a Granny for the foster grandparent Program. Ruby loved to go shopping with her Aunt Mai and her cousin Eva and loved gardening with her Aunt Mai as well. Passionate about cooking for the family and friends and loved birdwatching while spending time with Mrs. Jo and Ms. Naomi and their friends at the railroad tracks.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Children- Russell Hardy and Marcus Sebree, Janice Irish, all of Clarksville and Cotrenia (Don) Blakey of Frederick, MD. Brother- Bobby Morrow of Clarksville, Tn. Aunt- Effie Wilkerson, Niece- Barbie Lynn Dansby, Nephew- Brian (DoRight) Morrow, Godsons- Delwyn Johnson and Calos Hite, Nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation Saturday, December 4, 2021, 12-1:00 pm with funeral to follow at Christ The Healer Church 1295 Paradise Hill Road. Interment Restlawn Cemetery Cedar Hill, TN.
