Ruby Fay House

Ruby Fay (Keener) House, age 81, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at her residence surround by her loved ones. Ruby was born Thursday, July 9, 1942 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Luther and Lois (Keener) House.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald House; granddaughter, Merinna Berry; siblings, Thomas L. and Luther L. Keener.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Leonard House; grandchildren, Ashley, Donald Jr., Isabella, Lana, Tabatha and Montana; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Roberta) Keener; daughter in law, Brenda House along with lots of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her dearly.

Ruby will be remembered by those who knew her as a devoted wife to her husband Leonard House, supporting him on the farm and caring for him with love and compassion. Ruby was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her tireless work ethic throughout her life. Her family was at the center of her world, and she delighted in spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Ruby's love extended to her community, where she was an active member of her church and lent a helping hand wherever it was needed. Ruby had an artistic side, finding solace in the gentle art of crocheting. Her skill and creativity were evident in the beautiful pieces she crafted, each stitch made with care and love. Ruby will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.

 

Entombment will be held at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, Thursday, March 28 2024 at 11:45 A.M. Pastor Bobby Upchurch officiating.
