Ruby Catherine (Feather) Judy, age 93, of Eglon, WV, departed this life heaven bound on October 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born March 3, 1931, the middle child of the late Guy and Anna (Strawser) Feather. On August 30, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jesse Troy Judy, sharing almost 60 years together before his death in 2018.
Prior to retiring, Ruby was employed as a bank teller and then later promoted to management. She enjoyed baking, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a lifelong member of the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren where she served in many capacities over the years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Marilyn Schmidt and husband Brad and Barry Judy and wife Lisa; grandchildren Kaitlyn Beeson and husband Nick, Jesse Schalker and significant other Jessica Bonnett, Edwin, Alivia, and Muirielle "Ellie" Judy; great-grandchildren, Lukas and Quinn Beeson; and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruby was proceeded in death by her infant daughter Vickie; her son Myron;a grandson, Bryan; a daughter-in-law, Susan; a brother Norman Feather and his wife Ruby; and a sister, Avalena Dumire and husband Carl.
Friends will be received at the Maple Spring Covenant Brethren Church on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 10 AM in the Church with Pastor Lindsey Teets officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Spring Cemetery.
