Evangelist Reverend Ruby Mae Kimble 's Story: The sun rose on August 31, 1943, in
Tupelo, Mississippi, when Ruby Mae Kimble was born. She transitioned to Glory on March 20, 2026, leaving a lasting light on this nation, through her life of love and service.
A beloved family gem and eldest of 11 children of the late Virginia and Floyd Kimble (a World War II Army Veteran), Ruby was sometimes affectionately called "the chief" by some of her siblings. Her natural leadership and compassion, in addition to her spiritual gifts and fruits of the spirit, were God given blessings in her callings as an evangelist and licensed minister.
Evangelist Reverend Ruby traveled the country ministering, praying for others and trusting God. Her radiating smile could completely transform a room. She lived a Christ-like life, operating in forgiveness and spreading love across the nation. As a "young senior citizen," she held Friday Joy Night services in a senior only community. And her famous Monday night prayers were a cornerstone for keeping the family together and seeking healing for all souls.
She was predeceased by her parents Floyd and Virginia Kimble, and siblings Callie Spearman, Robert Earl Kimble, Terry Kimble, John Kimble, and Charlie Kimble.
Evangelist Reverend Ruby's memory will be cherished by many friends and family including her beloved offspring: Joseph Rashad (aka JR), Curtis (Priscilla) and Precious Robinson, and An'Cetha (Craig) Mitchell – children she had with her former husband, Reverend Joe Robinson; and also by her "5th child" Anita BryantWhite; great-grandchildren, and grandchildren: Jasmine, Joseph, Lindsey, Lynden and Tyrianna (aka TT) Robinson; and Faith (Jason) Woods; and by her siblings: Betty Jo Dorsey of Wilmington, DE; Ann Bostick (Al), of Memphis, TN; Thomas Kimble of Milwaukee, WI; Sara Etherly of Forrest City, AR, and Richard Kimble of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, JoAnn Kimble, and her sisters/best friends, Louise Edwards of Newark, DE, and Rev. Emma Corbin of Wilmington, DE, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins as well as other family and friends.
She will forever be known for her expression, "Love, Love, Love."
