Mrs. Ruby J. James departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday,July 27, 2025.,
a longtime resident of Mobile AL. She completed her high school education at Mattie T.
Blount High School class of 1966. She was employed at Colon & Rectal surgery clinic
PC for over 30 years until she retired. Ruby was faithful and devoted member of Cedar Grove Baptist for many years where she served on the deaconess board and a member of the senior choir until she became ill and no longer could attend.
She is preceded in death by her mother Elouise Frazier and husband Deacon Henry J. James.
She leaves to forever cherish her memories two loving and devoted children Terrance (Tamika) James of Hampton, GA., Tanisha (Kevin) Kimbrough of McDonough, GA; Three grandchildren: Tamorris and Tamyia Kimbrough of McDonough, GA & Mialik Route of Hampton, GA; Devoted siblings: Georgia, Bernard and Hillard Johnson of Mobile, AL. Devoted friends Juniata Milligan, Lillian Bell and Lisa Donald. And host of other special relative and friends.
She loved socializing with family and friends going out to eat, shopping or just taking trips.
She also loved listening to her favorite music. Ruby truly loved her children especially those
