Ruby Irene Lipscomb

Ruby I. Lipscomb, 82, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025.

Ruby put love into everything she did-whether it was the beautiful crafts she created or the family she cared for so deeply. A creative spirit, she loved spending her summers in her gardens, tending to her plants and flowers, and sharing that passion with others.

In her role as a maintenance supervisor at the Clearview Mall, Ruby took great pride in her work and used her horticultural knowledge to help maintain the mall's greenery. Her creativity extended beyond her job and into a ceramic business, My Two Sisters, which she co-owned with her sister in the 1980s. Her beautiful pieces are cherished to this day.

Ruby was especially devoted to her family. She will be remembered as one of the best mothers and grandmothers a person could ever ask for-someone who embodied love, warmth, and comfort in all that she did.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Delphin and Mary Walker; her brothers, Kenneth and Harvey Walker; her sister, Loretta Barkand; her son, Kenneth Michael Lipscomb, and a great-grandson.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Kenneth Lipscomb; her siblings, Della (David) Curzi and Alfred (Martha) Walker; her children, John (Joyce) McCune, Deb (Gary) MacDonald, Russell McCune, Mark McCune, and David (Denise) Lipscomb; her grandchildren, Misty (Daniel) McConnell, Elizabeth (Michael) Yourchak, Ashlee (Joseph) Ray, Harlee MacDonald, Dustin Heathcoat, Mykaela Lipscomb, Acacia McCune, Eden McCune, and Shannon Wheeler; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Ruby will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
