Mrs Ruby Mae Mooney Garrett

Mrs. Ruby Mae Mooney Garrett, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday evening, November 2, 2011 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA surrounded by her loving family. Ruby was born November 21, 1950 in Gilmer County GA. She was a daughter of the late Gardy and Lillian Cantrell Mooney. She was also preceded in death by brothers; Junie and Clay Mooney of Ellijay. Ruby was a long time residence of Calhoun GA. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Charles Garrett, Daughters; Rhonda Garrett and Amy Garrett of Dalton GA and Ruby Ann Williams of Calhoun GA. Sons; Calvin Chastain of Ellijay and Tony Chastain of Dawsonville GA. Brothers and sisters in law; James and Pearl Mooney of Whiteburg GA, Clifford and Joyseen Mooney of Ellijay GA, Clemon and Willa Mae Mooney of Ellijay GA and brother Willard Mooney of Ellijay GA. Ruby had three grandchildren; Kelly and Thomas "Danny" Williams and Drennon Garrett. Services for Mrs. Ruby Mae Garrett will be held 2:00 PM Saturday November 5, 2001 at Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home in Calhoun GA with Pastor Doug Green officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 to 9 PM at Ponders Funeral Home in Calhoun GA.
