Ruby Ann "Lucky" Orehowsky

Ruby (Lucky) Ann Orehowsky, 88, of Dumfries, Virginia, passed away on September 9, 2022.
Lucky was born in Cynthiana Kentucky to Charles and Pearl Retha North on October 15, 1933. She Graduated from Cynthiana High School in 1952. She sang in the Glee Club and was involved in other activities. Lucky loved to draw and crafting. She enlisted in the Air Force right after graduating. The Air Force took her to Illinois, Alabama, Florida, and settling in Virginia. After leaving the military, she became a telephone operator for AT & T for 25 years. She loved doting on her Grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being with family, reading, crossword puzzles and having great conversations with family and friends.
.Lucky is survived by her children, Dawn (James) Allison and Michael (Susan) Orehowsky. Her Grandchildren, Taylor, Bruce (Erin), Bryan, and Daniel (Ann Marie) Allison. Michael Jr (Tiffany), Brett (Alysa) and Chad Orehowsky. Her Great-grandchildren, Henry, Jack, Kyler, and Sloane Ruby Allison. Landon and Aubree Jones, Jocelyn Impatenco, Eliahs, Savannah, Maciah and Shania Orehowsky and her sister, Doris Muntz.
She was predeceased by a son, Timothy and her four brothers.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10 AM, at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City VA. 22193, with a Service at 11 am at interment immediately following at Quantico National Cemetery.
