Banister-Cooper Funeral HomeBorn on April 1, 1957, to O.J. Underhill and Gladys Cadle in Starke, Florida, passed away surrounded by family on October 8, 2025.
Vicki lived a full and meaningful life marked by hard work, devotion, and family. For more than 20 years, she built a successful career as a real estate broker with Adams Homes in Jacksonville, Florida, where her dedication and talent left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with. Her true passion, though, was always her family. She poured her heart into every moment with them, finding her greatest joy in the love and time they shared.
She was the beloved wife of Michael DiVona, her partner, and the love of her life, with whom she shared 48 beautiful years. Together they built a life grounded in love, faith, and strength—navigating the journey of being a supportive military family.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Michael; her two sons, Eric DiVona (Ali) and Josh DiVona (Jen); her sister, Sharon Popovich; her brother, O.J. Underhill (Sandra); her stepfather, Frank Johnson (Ingrid); 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her older brothers, Alvin Underhill and Ronnie Underhill.
Those who knew Vicki will remember her big heart, her kindness, and the way her laughter could fill a room. She had a warmth and humor that made everyone instantly feel like family, and a smile that could light up any space she entered. Her love for life drew people in, and her compassion made them want to stay. Vicki had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories, making everyone around her feel valued, loved, and right at home. Her greatest joy was always her family — and her heart never stopped giving. Her legacy will live on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the countless lives she touched along the way.
