RUDELLE GROSS, 96, of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at 6:03 pm, Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation, Pinckneyville, Illinois.
She was born to the late Andrew Joseph and Selma D. (nee Welge) Bert on March 27, 1929 in Chester, Illinois.
Rudelle married Melvin “Mel” Gross on April 12, 1947 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 2, 2009.
She had worked as a dietary supervisor at Chester Mental Health Center for 19 years.
Rudelle was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, Illinois. She was also a retiree of AFSCME and was a former member of the altar sodality at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester.
