Mr. Rudolph Revels of Maxton was born on November 16, 1946, to the late Argusta Revels and Frances Lowery Revels. He departed this life on July 1, 2025, completing his journey of 78 years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters: Florence Locklear, Patricia "PeeWee" Revels, Ellen Bullard and Betty P. Collins; two brothers: Bobby Revels and Rev. Randy Revels. We the children, Mary and Joseph would love to honor our mother Margie Brayboy who is proceeded in death with our father Rudolph Revels.

Mr. Revels leaves to cherish his memories, two children: Mary Revels of Rowland and Joseph Revels (Kylene) of Lumberton; five grandchildren: Victoria, Monica, Ashley, Josie and Nick; two great-grandchildren: Bentley and Josiah; six sisters: Betty R. Jacobs, Susan Chavis, Betty Bell, Jane Chavis, Lenora R. Demery and Shelby Huggins; three brothers: RD Revels, Grover Revels and Wayne Revels as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Our dad was a hard worker for the community and surrounding areas. He always loved to give a helping hand to others in times of need. When he retired, he accepted Christ into his life. He often said, "When it's my time I'm ready to go." He enjoyed going to the beach, going to the mountains, spending time with family. We will cherish the times we shared with our father. May he rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Boles Funeral Home Chapel of Rowland. The funeral will held 2:00 PM Monday, July 7, 2025, at Clyborn Pines Church of God in Lumberton. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Church Cemetery.
