Rudolph V. Richichi Sr., passed away on January 5,2025 at the age of 94, in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Mr. Richichi was born July 22, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Carmela Richichi of Italy.
He graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, New York. He was a New York State Trooper, Troop K and retired in 1967. He pursued a career as a private investigator forming Professional Investigation Services Inc. He was the chief investigator for the Department of Social Services, Fraud Unit. He also was a certified Polygraphist and was a Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Certified Polygraphists which he remained until he retired in 1988 when he moved to Florida with his wife Barbara.
He was an avid chess player, loved the arts and loved to travel, but his first love was his family.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Richichi of Wesley Chapel, Florida, Sons: Vincent J. Richichi and Michael A. Richichi of New York, Rudolph V. Richichi Jr. of Virginia, Anthony Richichi (deceased), Daughters: Dianne Anello of Georgia, and Joanne Nardi of Florida, Grandchildren: Christina Costello and Marissa Corvino, of New Jersey, Anthony Nardi of Washington DC, and
Andrew Anello (deceased), Great grandchildren: Mia, Leo and Grace Corvino and Claire Costello, Sisters: Gina Fiorenza and Mary Revere of New York.
Mass service will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA on January 24, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
