Rudy "Bimbie" Chacon Jr.

Rudy "Bimbie" Chacon Jr. passed away the evening of April 11th, 2025. Though his last few years weren't easy for him, due to illness, he lived each day to the fullest and will be remembered as always having a smile on his face and his infectious laughter, no matter the circumstances he encountered. He is survived by his loving daughters, Anna Lisa and Christina, son-in-law Michael, grandson Daniel, great granddaughter Zelda, ex-wife Beatriz, siblings Raymond, Richard, Herman, Nancy, Debra and Kenneth, dogs Jordan, Batman, Houdini and Baby Cow and countless family members and friends. Rudy was born to Rudy and Rose "Vickie" Chacon on January 4th, 1959, in Phoenix, AZ. Following in his father's footsteps, Rudy joined the military and proudly served his country, being stationed in both Germany and the US. After his military service, Rudy moved back to Phoenix and began his career with Valley National Bank/Bank One, where he stood until retirement. A visitation will be held at 10:00AM, May 1st, 2025, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 2121 South Rural Rd, Tempe AZ 85282. Mass will be held during following at 11am. Burial procession will follow immediately at Resthaven Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave, Phoenix AZ 85042. A Celebration of Rudy "Bimbie" Chacon's Life will be held at the American Legion, Post 41, 715 S 2nd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003 following the funeral, from 1pm to 5pm.
