Rushia was a co-worker, I met when North Fulton and North Side merged in 1991. We became friends. She was my Realator, when my husband and I purchased our second home in 2006. She was my Soror, my true friend.
She was the choral Director for the best Performing Arts Department in the state of Georgia. She was very talented and very creative. She could sing, dance, and teach music. She choreographed all of the graduation music for North Atlanta Graduations. All of the performances put on by the Performing Arts Department was top Notched. Her family was her prized possessions. Her Father, Mother, Brothers and her beloved children, Nicole and Makel, and grandson. I did not get an opportunity to meet her husband, the Magistrate Judge, we lost contact, when I retired from North Atlanta in 2008. She will always be remembered by me as a special person and friend. I know that God will continue to take care of her family, and be the Great Comforter, they need as they go through this phase of their lives, because they will meet her again.
