Russell Allen Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 6, 2025.
Russell Allen was born in Newport, RI on May 7, 1959. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1977 and began a career in construction and contracting with a focus on restorative carpentry. He loved flying, particularly Sea Planes, and pursued his pilot's license certification. He loved Hot Air Ballooning as well and could tell marvelous stories of the precarious landings he experienced.

His journey took him from Newport to North Carolina to Florida, which he has called home since 1992. Upon arriving to Palm Beach County, he established JetSet Pressure Washing Company. He developed an interest in lightning protection and later established Palm Beach Lightning Protection Systems. He worked tirelessly to grow his businesses while giving back to the community.

He was active with the Palm Beach chapter of Kiwanis, but an unfortunate accident in 1997 changed the trajectory of his life. Despite the hardship, he moved forward and enjoyed his life in West Palm Beach, where he continued to thrive.

Russell was a smart, learned individual who could converse on virtually every subject. He was a man of Faith and always willing to help others. He was generous, funny and witty; beloved by his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Carol Allen of Newport, RI and devoted sister Cynthia Stone of West Palm Beach, FL. He also leaves nephew Morgan Curry, his wife Chrissy and children Alex, Owen and Kira of Cranston, RI.
