Born on May 5, 1962, in Norwich, New York, he was the son of the late Russell N. Crosby and Virginia Slinsky. Russell was a hardworking man who lived life with a kind heart, a sharp wit, and a generous spirit. He had a lifelong love for the outdoors and enjoyed farming, carpentry, music, fishing, and sports. He found great joy in collecting small treasures and trinkets, each one holding a memory or story that reflected the colorful life he lived.
Above all, Russell was deeply devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Ilona, and their children: Russ Jr. and his wife Victoria, Chrissy and her husband Mike, and Keith and his wife Deb. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Noel and her husband Peter, Presley, Rusty, Jackson, Brooklyn, Cash, Joey, Emma, Hudson, Charlie, and Declan. His love for them will live on in the many lessons, laughs, and memories he shared.
