Emauel Joseph Crosby Sr. was born March 13, 1947 in New Orleans, LA to the late William Crosby, Sr. and Mary (Matthew) Crosby, transitioned peacefully On May 16, 2024,as God called him from this walk of life from Touro Infirmary LCMC Health, and joined the angels in heaven, at the age of 77. He was preceded in life by his wife of 43 years, Loraine Crosby; parents, William and Mary Crosby, 3 of his brothers Lenny Crosby, William Crosby, Jr., Terry Lee Crosby and one sister Constance Crosby Cagler. He was also preceded in death by Peggy Crosby, mother of his two oldest children. He leaves to cherish forever, his youngest brother Ronnie Crosby, Sr. (Gail), six children, Sandra Crosby, Peggy Crosby, Emanuel Crosby, Jr., Ronald Crosby (Takeba), Gerard Crosby (Veronica), and Shannon Crosby. He also leaves behind grandchildren Emanuel Braxton, Sr., Sandra Braxton(Roy), Tytiyana Crosby, Emani Hood, Sapphyre Crosby, Ronald Crosby, Jr., Jalyn Duke, Autumn Espitia(Joel), Amber Kiser, Nia Ellis (Juwuan) and Stanley Robinson, Jr. and 5 great-grandchildren. He leaves a host of nieces and nephews. He leaves a host of extended family, including Valeria Keeler, Tiffiany Braxton and his sister-in-law Louise Napoleon (William). Relatives, friends of the family, are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 25, 2024, 10:00AM, at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave., NOLA.
