Mr. Russell "Russ" Jay Davis, 83, passed away Sunday, November 02, 2025, at his home in Kannapolis, NC.
Russ was born October 7, 1942, in Johnstown, PA to the late Jay Davis and Marion Edwards Davis.
Russ was retired from the trucking industry. He loved to travel and going to the casinos with his late wife, Linda. He enjoyed camping, watching sports and he was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and was of the Christian Faith.
He loved his dog Wilson who just recently passed away.
Survivors include his two stepsons, Shadd Westover (Amy) of Kannapolis, NC, and Shane Westover (Tuyet Mai) of Concord, NC; a stepdaughter, Staci Westover (Clayton) of Westover, PA; fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter on the way; and two sisters, Becky Reese and Susan Baumgardner.
In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Davis who passed away in 2021; a stepson, Shawn O'Bryan Westover; and a grandson, Adam Westover.
A Celebration of Life service will be held by family in Pennsylvania.
